Description
The Frigidaire 30-inch induction front control freestanding range with convection bake allows you to achieve consistent baking results, faster. Plus, no cooktop is easier to clean than induction, since induction heats the pan and not the cooktop around it, spills wipe up more easily. Also, you can get dinner on the table faster with the induction cooktop, which boils water 50% faster than gas and electric.

Affordable induction range that has just the right amount of features!
I upgraded from a very old electric stove to this Frigidaire Front Control Induction Range, and it is quite the upgrade. The induction cooktop is amazing, and I can never go back to radiant heat. Boiling water and frying just about anything is a dream, I never imagined having this much control over heat with an electric range was possible. I also like the fact that the features on this range are simple (Convection Bake, Warming, Bake, Broil), offering everything you need but no extra frills. Some more expensive models offer 15+ different ways to cook but I like the simplicity of this model.
A couple of minor annoyances: I find the touch screen interface on the front of the range to be a bit finicky, and I miss having dials. Sometimes it doesn't register button presses... Turning on a burner right after turning on the cooktop doesn't always work on the first try (maybe it needs a second to boot up). I also wish the burner "radius" were a bit bigger as the heat concentrates in the middle of the pan, especially on the smaller burners but it is still way more even heat than my old range. Other than that, I haven't noticed any issues with the range and this is a great value for the price compared to other inductions stoves. Can't really speak to reliability yet, I have only owned it for a month but so far so good and time will tell.

New to induction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we are very happy with our choice on this induction range, but getting used to induction is something that’s going to take a while, even coming from regular electric. I’m not sure I like the controls down in front, versus up top, since they do get bumped a bit in general, but this hasn’t been a huge issue. When it comes to performance, this range works very well. Things heat up fast and the cooking power is consistent, as long as you don’t expect it to work like gas or electric where the burners keep some heat after it’s powered down. The oven works very well~ no complaints there whatsoever. Overall, it seems to be a great range. Hope it lasts us a long time!

One burner a problem
The stove is excellent except for one thing . The large burner is not fully effective through the area marked with white stripes. An inch on one side does not engage, which is obvious when looking at water starting to boil, and the full circle is not covered with bubbles. Food in that area of a frying pan does not cook as fast. Yes, I tried more than one pan.

Loving my new induction range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop and oven is working out great for me! My old one was a 1967 Frigidaire custom imperial and worked until last month! I hated to give it up, but I’m really happy with the new one!

Only regret, waiting so long to make the switch. Plus it doesn't create as much heat in the kitchen which I a big win here in Florida
