Perfection

Great varnish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good satin varnish for my art projects. I use it to seal acrylic paint and it does a great job at leaving them with an even satin finish. I have not experienced any yellowing or cracking.

In love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this product goes on smooth and covers very well! It gives amazing coverage with minimal product used for my projects. It also had an easy clean up with just soap and warm water, so it gives my projects a nice finish and my brushes can be saved to use again another day.

Easy to apply finish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a clear coat finish to apply on a current woodworking project I was working on. I chose Varathane’s Ultimant Polyurethane as it was water based which means it wouldn’t produce a smell after applying. It dried fairly quickly - just over an hour allowing me to get multiple coats on in minimal amount of time. It goes on milky looking and brush strokes disappeared as it dried. I was pleased with the satin finish which had a little bit of sheen to it. I’m very happy with how this product goes on and hoping it’s durability is also top notch.

Nice finish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been painting some of my older furniture to update my decor. This is the first time I have used a polyurethane to “finish” the look and protect the finish. I love this crystal clear satin finish. Very low odor and dryer clear and very easy to apply (I used foam brush). I worried when I opened it and it was white but it helps to let you know you have it all covered. It goes on white but dry fast and clear. Will buy more.

Varathane stain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this can said fast dry time there was no lie! Used this for the seats in my car to prevent wear and tear but mainly prevent stains from my children’s drinks, after a few weeks I’m happy to say my seats never have looked better!

Quick and easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water based makes for easier clean up but sometimes that means the end results of your project isn’t the most desirable! With Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane I don’t have to worry about the end results as they are always amazing! I love that it’s water based and easy to clean up! Drives quickly so you can move along with your project! No regrets using this product!

Easy application
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this stain. It wasn’t too shiner and got my needs. It was fast drying and has smooth finish. The odor was low so no bad fumes. This will now be my go to on all my projects regardless if art or home improvement.
