Acheter en Août 2023. Ils sont defectueux, la date de fabrication est 25 Juillet 2019!!! First alert ne les fabrique plus et sont incapable de me les échanger et Rona refuse de me les rembouser ou échanger. Ils m'ont vendu leurs vieux détecteurs et s'en lave les mains. Acheter pas ces detecteurs!!!!

Potential fire hazard
I received what seemed to be new-old stock First Alert Onelink. Said made in 2019 on the back of detector, spent half its useful life sitting on a shelf. The wired unit came out the box with a low battery alarm for the built in battery, manual said "contact manufacturer." Homekit integration was flaky at best. Couldn't have really been much more wrong with it unless it burst into flames and set my house on fire.

Connects with HomeKit
Purchased two of these to replace existing First Alert that were end-of-life. Connectors for the wiring was the same, only the wall plate needed to be swapped. My hardware install only needed a screwdriver, so that was easy.
Initial attempt at connecting to WAP/HomeKit failed connecting with both detectors, however after factory resets they both connected on the second try. Easy, but slightly more install time.
Shows up in HomeKit just fine. Haven’t tested it out with my baking yet.

Too many problems
It took far too long to set up. After software declared installation was successful, alarm started to chirp. Numerous attempts to fix this were unsuccessful. This was an obsolete model, no longer listed on First Alert website, so I wondered how old mine was, and if it had maybe reached its "Best By" date. I returned it.

Nice looking
I bought 2 of these and one connected to my wifi the first try but the other one connected after 5 tries. Other than that, they are good-looking and I like the dimmable night light feature. But quite expensive for smoke alarms.
