I bought this today and installed it in the gazebo. You do need to be near it to feel the heat. We have it in the center with sofa around and you can feel most of the heat when you are standing close to it or directly under it. I do like that it looks liek a light when on.

Remote malfunction and customer service not help m
Bought this heater last fall and it looks good however the remote started not working after a few months. Now I tried to use it this spring and contacted with the customer service. According to customer service personnel, I am responsible for the shipping the unit back to Quebec for repair. Just a remote malfunction and not want to bother shipping repairing around. Wish the heating unit last a bit longer thought, i actually stored it inside during winter. Not happy with the quality of this product and customer service. Why not just keep it simple to replace the remote control?

I like that this heater includes a light. You need to hang this low if you want to feel any heat. If you are not close to this heater, it is not useful.

Hâte à l'hiver
J'ai acheté ce produit il n'y a qu'une semaine. Je suis satisfait car il correspond aux fonctions que je voulais. Le fournisseur aurait avantage à fournir des crochets (maillons rapides) de meilleur qualité. Je trouve que ceux fournis semble trop fragile, je les ai changé pour des maillons à vis. En résumé, je suis tout de même satisfait. Hâte à l'hiver.
