Died after just 3 years
Bought this and the matching washer and storage pedestals when we moved to our home in October 2020. Was very pleased with the performance and capacity. We could wash and dry our king size comforter without too much hassle.
However, reliability seemed to not be its strong point -- I was going to dry a load yesterday when I found the unit would just power on and respond to user input, but the just motor wouldn't start anymore and I was forced to hang my wet laundry in the basement. There were no indicators of an impending failure and the control display didn't give any sort of errors. I can even hear the relays click when I select and try to start a cycle. I even tried the hard reset instructions provided by phone support to no avail.
We are a 2-person household so it's unreasonable to think it failed because of undue wear when we are very particular and gentle with our appliances since we want them to last for as long as possible.
I'm now forced to avail of out-of-warranty repair since it only comes with a paltry 1-year coverage.
I feel this is unacceptable especially for an appliance in this price range.

POOR QUALITY
Bought DLEX 9000V dryer, accompanying washer, Styler, kick washer and under storage drawer, the whole shabang, Nov. 2020. Two and a half yrs. later the dryer MOTOR is fried!! Unreal!! No unusual situations, no moves, etc. I talked to appliance repair shop and now paying 1/2 the original cost to have it fixed!! They also said LG is poor when it comes to reliability, always have calls on it. Lesson learned, no more LG after this.

Love the size!!!!!
Love that clothes don't get all wadded up. Sheets don't wad up as they stay lose and easy to pull out and fold. Fast and efficient!!!

No Stress for malfunction
I really enjoyed this LG dryer after my wife had been struggling with the previous dryer and it make a lot of time stopping and making a noise.
But this Dryer makes peace of a family and thank you.
