Worked like a charm on island camping weekend.
I wasn't going to leave a review, but some of these negative ones seem inaccurate or anomalous. I bought this to take camping on Kelly's Island in Lake Erie. We went with two other families and our campsite had no hookups. I took my dad's truck and the USB jack was not working for some reason. I used this the whole weekend on one battery. When I drove to town to try for cell reception I carried it around with me to a bar to wait for my phone to turn back on. Both other families used it for their mattress air pumps and various other things. Seems great.

Works for items with super low draw
I was so happy to purchase the small inverter to use during camping trips and power outages. I love our Ego products. Unfortunately the unit trips with the slightest draw. It wouldn’t even power our air mattress fan without tripping. A competitor's 18v smaller inverter did without issue. I’ve been a long time Ego user and this is the worst item I’ve bought from them. I wanted the big Nexus, but the cost vs risk of the unit tripping all the time isn’t worth it. It works fine if you have something with low constant draw.

Nice but could be improved.
On the pros side, it works well, it's well balanced which makes it easy to carry with the handle, it looks good. However I can't give it 5 stars for it's missing two features I would have liked.
I bought this to power USB dew heaters for my lens/scopes when I do astrophotography. Unfortunately they draw so little power that it does not detect it and automatically shuts down after few minutes. I wish there was a way to force it to stay on.
The other missing feature is a switch to turn off that the gren lights that stay on all the time and are very annoying when using at night.

This device does not do 120v as advertised nor the reported amps. It is good for charging phones but little else.
