The EGO 8-in edger attachment and power head are part of the EGO POWER+ multi-head system. The 8-in edger creates clean and precise edges around your driveway, sidewalks and patio with ease. The 3-in edging depth is perfect for cutting tall grass near raised edges. Extended tool life and consistent performances are guaranteed with its high-efficiency brushless motor. It is equipped with a variable speed trigger, a lock off switch and a guide wheel with a depth adjustment knob. This attachment works with EGO ARC Lithium(TM) batteries (sold separately). Great product, but not as comfortable as old edger
Ego, from my experience, has been great products. I have had one of their blowers for years and it does great. The edger I recently bought leaves some to be desired. But it's the style of the edger. It gets the job done, and done well, just not as ergonomic or comfortable as the old edger I just replaced.

Ego Edger
The edger is easy to set up. It is nice not to have to worry about mixing gas and oil. No longer have to smell the exhaust from a 2 cycle engine. I really like just pulling the trigger and it works. The one minor draw back is that it may be lacking just a little less power than my stihl edger. However it still does a decent job of edging. I have added this to my Ego blower and weed trimmer.
