Solid, simple, strong.
Most electric saws, in my opinion, don’t have enough torque and speed to be worth purchasing. This does. I am a professional arborist and mount the battery to my back. Works well even when climbing trees to prune.

Awesome Top Handle Saw!
This is an amazing top handle chainsaw. Battery life is phenomenal with the 5ah battery. The battery holster is amazing, and it makes the saw extremely light and easy to work with up in the trees. It’s also compatible with a 14” and a 16” bar. Motor is strong and starts and stops instantly when engaged/disengaged. With a CH5500 charger, I am able to cut continuously, as a 2nd 5ah battery is fully charged long before the time the 1st one needs to be recharged.

Great saw for serious work
It performs better than I had hoped. I use the 7.5 aH battery and it outlasts me. I think the 5aH battery that it comes with is the perfect fit for cutting aloft though.

Ego Commercial Chain Saw Bundle
This saw has torque and chain speed to rival any gas powered saw in this class. It's awful nice, especially if your climbing, not to have worry about starting the saw, just pull the trigger and instant cutting power!
