The EGO 56 Volt 4 Ah ARC Lithium battery uses cutting-edge technology to deliver truly incredible power (Power Beyond Belief). Its patented ARC Lithium design prevents the battery from overheating by dissipating heat so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, impact-resistant design protects batteries from drops and bad weather. Intelligent power management monitors and optimises each individual battery cell to maximise power, performance and uptime. This battery features a charge indicator with integrated indicator lights that show remaining runtime in 20% increments. It can be fully charged in 30 minutes with the EGO POWER+ turbo charger (CH7000), in 30 minutes with the rapid charger (CH5500), in 55 minutes with the 320 W charger (CH3200) and in 80 minutes with the standard charger (CH2100). Two 4.0 Ah batteries can be fully charged in 60 minutes with the EGO POWER+ dual-port charger (CH2800D). Thanks to the most advanced battery technology on the market, every EGO tool delivers or exceeds the power and performance of petrol without the noise, fuss or fumes.

Battery blinks red, wont charge
The battery wont charge after only being used 1 time and vendor refused to replace. This is the 2nd battery in just over 1 month.

Much better performance! Worth the money, heavier.
The newer Ego batteries are much better and seem to last longer. The only thing I don't like is the weight of the larger batteries. I am not sure on the run time as I bought a 4amp and a 6amp.

So far, this battery has charged easily. I only put it on the charger 30 minutes after it has cooled down after being depleted to one light-bar. Also, I use it 30 minutes after charging to allow time for it to cool and rest more. It maintains a good charge during use with tall weeds in my yard and I have plenty of time to finish what I intend to use it on.

Battery not holding its charge anymore
A great battery for the first few months of owning. Unfortunately the battery doesn’t hold its charge anymore. Last no more than 30 minutes of full charge on the 3 Ego products I own.

Long lasting!
