The EGO POWER+ 15-in string trimmer with rapid reload head is a convenient upgrade to the string trimmer family. High-efficiency brushless motor ensures long tool life and consistent performance throughout the years, while weather-resistant construction withstands most outdoor conditions. Variable speed setting and extended aluminum shaft with in-line grip makes for a lightweight, easy-to-control trimmer. The rapid-reload head allows you to insert the line and twist with no alignment, enabling quick and easy reload. With a 15-in cutting swath and professional-grade, dual feed spiral-twist 0.095-in cutting line, yard clean ups are a breeze. EGO POWER+ string trimmer includes a 56 V 2.5 Ah ARC Lithium(TM) battery and charger. This battery provides up to 30 minutes of run time.

Great Value Tool
Lots of power nice wide swath easy operation. I’m 5’9” tall wish the shaft length was adjustable like our old B&D. Worked well in 6” high grass. Love the fill the spool once empty.

Great tool well balanced. Having trouble with the rapid reload—near end of initial length of string the string jammed in the spool . I cannot seem to get the tabs to open the spool. I have trouble w my thumbs making it difficult to open the tabs at the same time

Bump head is a joke
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer cuts the grass well enough - when the bump head works, and that’s not often. I can manage about 5-10 minutes of work before I have to take the head apart and re-feed the line. Screwing around with the head takes another 5-10 minutes each time it happens. So I spend as much time fixing it as trimming. After a year of this I’ve decided to replace it with a different brand.

Cuts grass fine, but auto-bump not working
It does a good job cutting grass when it is working properly. I have had numerous times where the auto-bump would not work and had to take it apart and rewind the trimmer cord. This is a real pain. If the bump-feed worked every time I would give this a 5-star rating. Do you know if there is a solution?

Good Trimmer
This string trimmer is a good tool to have for lawn care if you already own an Ego battery. 4ah Battery would last a good hour or so, but battery currently is not holding its charge anymore maybe 20 minutes or less. The trimmer itself is ok, not as powerful as I hoped like their Ego blower I also own.
