Great tool, although a little heavy
I've only had a chance to use the tool once, but it is all things that are advertised. Powerful (cuts through shrubs and grasses like soft butter) and the 25" length covers all cutting jobs I have. My only concern is that it gets heavy and thus a little unwieldy fairly quickly.

Quality hedge trimmer
Love the simplicity of hedgetrimmer, it is well built & performed very well. I already own an Ego chain saw, grass trimmer & lawnmower. The batteries are simple to swap out. Keep building well made tools!

Not Good
My hedge trimmer died within 10 months after casual residential use less than a dozen times. and maintained correctly and routinely lubricated blades after each use. No more electric for me......

Brought this 25” Double Sided Hedge Trimmer with the 2.5ah Battery primarily because wanted to stay with string trimmer previous brought. Unit was a bit heavier than I thought for me being over 60 yrs of age especially when the battery was added but the trimmer is a beast. First time out it we through an overgrown thorn brush with no problems was a bit longer than what I needed. The small shrubs was a breeze too. A lot of trimmer for the amount of shrubs in yard but a good purchase. After using the Sleeve gets hung up on bolts in blade and heavy was my only dislikes-just wish put hole in end like the HT2600 for storage. Purchase over the HT2600 due to the 2 speed range selector, Wanted the HT2400 but it had recall and this trimmer had least negative reviews over both other Ht2600 and Ht2400. Would highly recommend this trimmer and glad I purchased it

Great tool. Glad I finally bought it.
Strong, manageable, makes quick work of my large hedges. Really happy to add it to my collection of EGO yard tools.
Using it with a 4amp battery I already have. A little heavier than I’d like per the larger battery but still totally manageable.
Strongly recommend, but would reconsider getting with the lighter 2amp battery
