Description
With EGO's rechargeable lithium battery, you'll never be caught off guard and you'll be able to use your devices longer between charges. Its patented Keep Cool technology keeps cells cool and prolongs battery life, while its patented Power Management System protects the battery from impacts that could otherwise damage it. The built-in charge gauge gives you a clear idea of the remaining charge available. The battery fully charges in 100 minutes with the standard charger and just 40 minutes with the fast charger. Both chargers are compatible with EGO POWER+ batteries and devices.

Simply the BEST!!! Since we switched to an EGO lawnmower when they 1st came out, our lawn chores have become so much easier!!! EGO tools are run by the best battery made!!! EGO!!! Sadly, we had nothing but trouble with Ryobi batteries and lawn tools including their lawnmowers... We have every lawn tool Ego makes powered by the amazing Ego battery and wouldn't use any other!

Charge retention not the best in idle periods
Non-use charge retention may be an issue; dropped approx one third after the initial charge by just sitting idle for about 3 weeks. This may be normal, but not what I would expect.

Awesome power
This is my 5th or 6th EGO battery, but the first with the visible green individual power indicators on the top (older ones just had a single green button). The actual power seems stronger than any of my previous batteries, and it lasts forever!
