Just the right size
Just right for 1-2 year's growth of woody species in my prairie restoration. I was getting on the ground with my Ego chainsaw doing this work but this is much easier and I can get a lot more done before taking a break to treat the stumps. Also, much easier on my back!

Low weight - Pick up and go - Perfect for home use
This is one of the best brush cutters I have used compared to gas. This is the only battery operated one I have used and ...wow! I am impressed at its power and east of use. Easy to assemble. Very low weight and manageable when used to cut about 1/8 acre of 1 inch thick saplings to general brush. I also used it on some 2 inch thick "saplings" as an added test. I would not advise to do this, but it did well with some slow care in cutting. Its doable. But anything one inch or smaller I had no issues. This is one nice piece of equipment for anyone needing a simple, quick, no hassle way to get some brush down from your property. For me this is an easy recommendation for home use.

Canadian Thistle and Weeds Never Had a Chance
I had a high side full of Canadian thistle — 3-4 foot tall with prickly stems that were at least 1/2 inch thick. This thing made quick work of the mess! 110% satisfied with this product!

Blade stops
Just bought this . The battery is at full charge but the blade stops just cutting a weed ( not woody material and not run for more than a few secs.)
Great idea and hope I can get a return call from EGO - its been over an hour waiting for a call back. Really need this to function and looking forward to giving it 5 stars .
