VERY poor quality borderline dangerous
I have purchased 3 originally and 1 more to replace a faulty unit. The quality of these splitters is extremely poor. The male neutral thread is paper thin aluminium and is connected too the female aluminium thread by very weak and again paper thin aluminium tabs. The threads twist away from the plastic body very easily. I have had this happen too me twice with one causing a short on the electrical circuit tripping the breaker. The live tongue inside the socket isn't any better, made of an very soft material that deforms as you screw in a lamp instead of being springy maintaining a good connection.
If you are going to buy these make sure you are overly gentle with them and only use them for a very low
wattage.. Im sad that these are even allowed to go on sale they're honestly unsafe garbage.
