This tamper resistant receptacle features a UL listed safety shutter system that prevents the insertion of foreign objects into a receptacle. The safety shutters will only open upon simultaneous insertion of 2 plug blades. Its longer, wider strap provides 40% more contact area to wall board virtually eliminating floating installations.
