Description
Use this Eaton tamper-resistant duplex receptacle as an outlet and USB charger. It has a safety shutter system and complies with UL safety listing standards. The 15-amp duplex receptacle offers 125-volts for the outlets and 5 volts for the charger. Its thermoplastic tamper-resistant cover stays durable against impact. This dual USB charger duplex receptacle includes a 2-year warranty.
- Combination USB charger with tamper-resistant receptacle is a standard AC duplex receptacle with 2-USB charging ports rated 3.1A
- Automatic grounding system eliminates the need for bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosure, provides redundant measure of ground continuity where jumper is used
- The top and back-body are made of thermoplastic, a durable material
- Steel mounting strap is zinc-plated for added corrosion resistance
- Convenient built-in wire strippers speed installation
- Triple wipe blade contacts to ensure long-term plug retention
- 3 Pre-stripped 6 inch wire leads for line, neutral and ground for quick and easy installation

Great but requires larger 3 1/2" outlet box
I was keen to install these devices but was disappointed after opening the package. The instructions then told me that these require larger device boxes. Do not attempt to install in smaller boxes.

Convenient
I bought one yesterday to install on my kitchen island but after starting to remove the old one, realized it is a split (double crcuit outlet) and this one isn't, so decided to install it in the living-room where we need it anyway. The 115 volt worked but the USB did't. So stopped by Rona on my way back from wor, exchanged it and the new one works whith the 3 different devices so far. Wish they make some for split outlet.
