Be wary!
Despite the incorrect info in the instructions this device does not retain the temperature setting after a power outage. It will handle a brief outage but a longer one will cause the device to default to a 30C setting - far too hot for floor warming.
I pointed this out to Emerson with no offer to make a correction they only confirmed what I discovered. I asked for a credit to a programmable model for which they claim it will retain a setting but got no response.
