Very nice, but very little heat output
Very nice looking fireplace. However, it puts out very little heat. Instead of pumping out heat throughout the length of the fireplace, its output is only a fourth (if that!) of its length. You have to literally stand in front of it to feel any heat. The color changes are quite pretty. It's easy to put together (contractor loved it!). However, if I had to do it over again, I would've bought a gas linear fireplace (instead of this electric one). I would've made the contrator suck it up and run the gas lines.
