Great little attachment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little attachment, feels solid when attached and works as it was intended to. I'm glad it's now available as just an attachment instead of having to buy the whole kit with tool included. It didn't make sense to have to purchase the whole kit if you already had a tool you could attach it to. I started out slowly with my dog and did one paw at a time, adding a paw to each session in time as he got used to it. When I'm finished with all his paws I remove the attachment and switch to a drum sander to round the edges of each nail to make it a little smoother. that's just a personal preference, I feel more comfortable using a drum instead of the included disc to round the edges. It's not for every dog, I have 3 and 1 of them wants nothing to do with the tool at all, he gets afraid just hearing the sound of the tool turning on so I leave him be and use traditional clippers. If you're on the fence about getting one, I'd say go for it!

Very useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ATO1-PGK is a great add-on for the pet lovers. It was eazy to use and worked great. I really enjoyed how easy it was to use and without fear of trimming to far. This is always a fear but when set right there is no worries of getting the nail trimmed correctly and without pain or irritation. I just would just recommend getting your pet use to the sound of the Dremel first and dont just rush into it.

Good design and easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on our medium sized dog. She's usually very wary of powered nail trimmers, but this didn't seem to bother her. I was able to quickly trim her nails with no fuss. The guard makes it easy to do without worrying about going too far.

very easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it with the Pet Grooming Nail Guard to buff up my dog's nails. She's very picky and hates most noises but doesn't seemed bothered by this. Overall a good experience for her and I.

Great grooming kit! I'll never use anything else!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the AT01-PGK attachment to trim our pet's nails and let me tell you, it was FANTASTIC! I've sent our dog to the groomers for ages because I was never sure I was trimming our dog's nails correctly, but I can save all that money now, thanks, to the Dremel Pet Grooming Kit.
Trimming our pet's nails was simple. We started off by letting her hear the sound of the Dremel at the lowest RPM setting and having her get used to that sound, and then we grabbed one paw and started trimming her nails using the kit. The look on her face was priceless - it's as though she was enjoying a day at the spa!
I love that I can do this myself now without fear of clipping too much of her nail off, plus saving all of that money I was paying the groomers is a huge plus!

Not the greatest attachment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this attachment on my cat. He was afraid of the noise and vibrations of the rotary tool. It might be better if the actual tool was made specifically for pets. I was impressed with the attachments ease of use.

Simple portable tool for pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AT01-PGK worked well for trimming my dogs claws (German Shorthair Pointer). I had let them grow a little long, and so I was a bit nervous about how he would take to me filing them down with the dremel tool. I was surprised at the quietness of the tool and the ease of placing the claw in the insert. Controlling the tool while trimming the claws was very easy to do, and it did a pretty good job of not shooting out a lot of dust. There was still some dust that comes out, so make sure you are in an area to deal with that. I did have a few times where the sanding disc slipped off of the head, but I think this was more due to user issues vs the tool. The trimming tool was very easy to figure out how to use and to take on and off as needed. Overall a great tool to take care of my pets needs.
