Dremel EZ Lock 1-in Detail Abrasive Brush is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZ Lock 36 Grit Abrasive Brush [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this 36 grit abrasive brush to remove some stubborn gasket material residue from an intake manifold that a scraper didn't remove. Running at 10K RPM on my 8220 and with only light pressure, this brush easily cleaned up the gasket material that remained and left a clean surface for reassembly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZ Lock sanding wheels [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad to see that Dremel has these sanding wheels that can be used with their EZ Lock mandrel. It is easy and quick to change through the grits while sanding. I am working on some scrollsaw projects that make sanding a bit easier. I bet these would work with carving too. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small foot print for the most tight areas [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The little EZ471SA 1 In. (25.4 mm) EZ Lock Detail Abrasive Brush is ideal for getting in those hard to reach areas on projects. The 36 grit does a great job of polishing my metal sculptor's small details.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Max Life Premium Metal Cutting Tool [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have nothing but good things to say bout this particular accessory. Even though I have a shop full of professional tools, for a quick job I will always grab my Dremel and the many accessories I have to make quick work of things. The Metal cutting tool has been working well for shortening rods I used in my woodshop. I can make repeatable cuts quickly and the precision of the cuts is great for the type of work that I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dremel EZ Lock Detail Abrasive Brushes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EZ Lock Detail Abrasive Brush with 36 grit delivered a smooth sanding experience and an excellent finish. Using the EZ Lock system, it was easy to assemble and change out the brushes as I worked through the sanding process. Best results were achieved with a light touch, allowing the brush to do the work for me. I had the opportunity to test three brushes (36 grit, 120 grit and 220 grit) and found all of them to do an excellent job of sanding and smoothing. It was easy to use the brushes and I got excellent results with all of them. A suggestion to Dremel would be to identify the materials these brushes are designed for. I assumed they were to be used for wood applications, but there is nothing on the packaging to tell the user whether they are for wood, metal, plastics, etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Knife making tools to reach my desired look. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a custom knife maker I use wood, metal, and antlers to make my products. I started with a price of metal stock. Using the EZ471disk to cut the desired pattern in the stock. Using the Dremel disk 411,412 to smooth the design to smooth the edges then buff the design. Using the abrasive brushes using 36grit on groves on the antler, then the 120grit, and finishing with 220grit to remove the discoloration in the groves. The brushes worked very well for my application. The brushes was very simply to change out with the mandrel in place in the Dremel tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Wheels [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These wheels from the appearance look as if they wouldn't clean anything. They work exceptionally well at cleaning small items where a large sander wouldn't fit. They clean off paint off slowly so if you are trying not to go crazy on the metal they are perfect. I use them to clean smaller motorcycle parts like brackets or aluminum parts where it's hard to reach. They last for a reasonable amount of stripping especially if you don't push very hard, let the wheel do the work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EZ471A Abrasive Brush Review - Great Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me bring to your attention that the picture associated with the EZ471SA EZ Lock Detail Abrasive Brush is that of a cutting wheel. That said, I used the 36 grit abrasive brush to remove some old, dried paint from a project. It removed the material flawlessly without damaging the project, which I found remarkable since 36 grit is an aggressive sanding grit. I loved the fact that it was quick and easy to attach to the EZ Lock Mandrel. My concern is that the directions state to use at speeds around 15,000 rpm. I found that, at that speed, my handpiece vibrated quite badly. It was not quite as bad when attached direcly to my Dremel, but I still found too much vibration for my liking. The brush did the same job, with better control, at lower speeds. Also, I would remove the word "Detail" from the description since it really doesn't seem to fit the criteria for detail work. All things considered, the EZ471A is a great product.
