Description
Use the Dremel carbon steel brushes to remove rust, polish metal surfaces, and cleaning electrical appliances. The steel bristles allow use on brass, copper and other soft ferrous metals. These rotary tool brushes easily cleans flat surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. Each measure 3/4 in dia. A pack contains two brass cleaning brushes.

Great For Sewing Machine Restoration
I've spent many hours cleaning 100+ years of dried oil, grease, and hand grime from all parts of Vintage Sewing Machines with Great little wheels and my trusty Dremel. It's amazing to transform dirty, rusty, unrecognizable hunks of junk, into bright Shiny fully functional pieces of Americana.

Brush the Rust
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel products always seem to be a cut above. I’ve tried aftermarket accessories for my rotary tools, but they never measure up to Dremel quality. Once again I have found that to be true with the 447 carbon steel brush set. I have used them to clean up small parts for my 1929 Ford Model A. The small, hard-to-get places are no problem for these wheels. Whether cleaning out the threads on bolts or eliminating rust from original Ford parts, these accessories are indispensable.

Dremel Quality, took the rust right off.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these brushes to clean the rust off of some battery terminals, they were small and easy to get all the way around the terminal in the space I had. Great product. Would highly recommend for any light to medium cleaning of metal.

Antique Restoration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel's 447 carbon steel brush set was perfect for restoring some old antique toys. The combination of the two brushes are able to get into tight areas very easily, and using polishing compound the brushes leave a pretty nice finish on soft materials.

Great for light to medium use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this set to clean and restore an old multi-tool I found. I was very impressed that it not only removed the dirt and light rust, but appeared to polish it as well. It did a great job, but unfortunately I may only get one maybe two more uses of the brush set due to the brushes wearing down. But that's to be expected.

Decent, Stainless recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these and saw they are recommended for removing rust, and what better test than my project truck. Overall, they did a decent job removing the rust, however after trying the stainless steel brushes, there was no contest to the superior bit for the job. I will say for something as large as a truck, these may not be the ideal tool for the job just due to the size. However, if you have something smaller that doesn't have a decade of rust on it, they should work just fine.

Great Brush Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The carbon steel brush set 477 from dremel is a really nice addition to any tool box. The brushes are able to get into tight areas without much effort, and when using polishing compound the brushes leave a pretty decent finish on soft materials.

Good for detailing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well busting some rust on my mower deck. I basically just needed to hit a smaller area that a traditional wire brush would have been to much for. This did the job and I was able to paint and seal the area after.
