Are the chucks strong? I bought a cheap flex shaft attachment for my rotary tool. The bits wouldn't stay tightened and when retightening the cap - it stripped and became useless. I just want to buy something reliable and wont break on me.

Worked for a few months. Overheated
Not real pleased with the unit. I carve in pine wood with kutzall flame burr. I am new to this instrument so maybe my expectations were too high

Nice but used
Just got this today and upon opening the unit is dusty. Very dissapointed would prefer to get it from the store but it's only available online and it is needed right away.

Keep going
If Dremel wants to stay in the carving game they need to add a reverse feature to cast dust away from the carver, also some form of dust deflector for the protection of the machine itself.

Great Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to use on carving the stars out of the wooden flags I been making, got to say it made doing so extremely easy! Using the flex shaft gave me maneuverability while carving. I will say the shaft gets a little warm after while but nothing extreme. Great product that I will use often!
