The great Dremel Wood Kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dremel Wood Kit contains many handy items for working with wood. There are two sizes of engraving points for carving, lettering, or design work, a high speed cutter that can be used alone or with any of the Dremel Router accessories, and an 1/8 inch drill bit. Also included are disc and drum sanders for finishing your piece.

Good starter wood kit for engraving and carving
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good all round kit for most wood rotary tools. Included pieces for sanding, cutting, engraving and detail work at different depths. Sanding drums include 3 different types (407,408 and 432). 10 cut off discs also included. Good starter wood kit for engraving and carving.

Good wood set.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good kit to start with when looking to get into wood carving. The three different size cutters seem to remove wood efficiently. The sanding drums are good for smoothing, just don't rush and apply too much pressure and wear out the drums.

Fun and efficient

I really enjoyed the ease of use and quick result I got with this kit. I’m just removing bark and sanding right now but I look forward to doing some designs using this.

As Comfortable to Use as an Old Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Dremel owner and product user for nearly 50 years; Dremel tools have no peers. As a matter of fact, I still own and use my first Moto-Tool, a model 260. As a hobbyist, I enjoy wood working and chip carving. While knives and gouges are the principal wood carving tools, the Dremel wood kit is indispensable in the finishing process. Even with large wood working projects there are tiny areas that require small tool attachments. I count on my Dremel to finish the job right. The packaging is also top notch. The strong cases with specialty compartments, make it easy to store and find the right disk or cylinder quickly. If you’ve ever rummaged through a container full of miscellaneous parts searching for the needed tool, you know how important good storage is. I count on my Dremel tools to get the job done right.

Perfect Wood Kit for carving details
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect useful kit for my wood carving with the sanding drums and cutters. The cyclinder 194 cutter works great for hair details or tree branches. Little mandrel with the sanding discs are great and can always cut up my own sandpaper and use the mandrel with as well.

Great for touch up work to wood details
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these bits on some wood carvings that I was working on. All of them performed quite well. I was very satisfied how stiff the sanding discs were and they did a very nice touch up job! The detail carving ball is small enough to fit into the tiny details for fine work. The sanding drums held up well to some extensive sanding. I would recommend this kit for touching up those fine details to your woodwork.

4.5 outta 5 for me....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these modular packs of individualized, "by-job/catagory" dremel packs-first off because Dremel quality is beyond any other I've used from other companies. Second, because I have several of these little packs, the clear case is easy to identify and easy to store away and stack one atop the other, love it, couldn't be easier! For me, the only short coming I have with this "wood kit", which does come with my basic level, basic wood working supplies-sanding bands of varying grits, carvers and bits... I just find fit a full wood kit something is lacking in what comes in the pack-I'm not entirely sure what makes it a full five star complete for me, but all in all I'd say it's a solid 4.5 stars outta 5. Solid product I'm glad to have close by for my projects
