Exceeds my expectations.
I was nervous about this product as to whether would look real or fake in my fireplace. I do live in Florida and having the Driftwood truly does look like I walked out to the beach and gathered some driftwood. There were plenty of small or tiny pebble rocks and larger rocks as well. I laid them right on top of the crystals. It is absolutely stunning!

Not up to the quality of the fireplace itself.
Added driftwood on top of the acrylic medium since we liked the glow. Felt that the rocks would have made it too dark. Was disappointed there were no instructions or suggestions for use.

Our Favorite Purchase!!!
This fireplace was for our new home construction. It has turned out to be the focal point and showstopper in our space. The wall is 2 x 6 construction with shiplap finish and the fireplace fit seamlessly without a trim kit. We have had gas inserts, both vented and unvented, but the convenience, beauty and sleek look of our Dimplex Fireplace beats all.

Surprisingly good purchase
Although the crystal gems that come with the linear fireplace give off a beautiful shimmer, its style didn't fit our traditional home. I was nervous about purchasing the driftwood log & river rock set because I thought it would be a bit silly looking, but it actually compliments the linear fireplace and our home decor. I kept some of the original crystal gems in the bottom of the firebox for the LED lights to reflect off of, then placed the river rock and faux driftwood on top. It surprisingly looks very nice.
