nice sturdy material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] awesome insert. we already have a gas fireplace in the house, but we wanted to add a second in a different room. we built a wooden fireplace in the living room and used the insert. once we added the electrical and trimmed it out, it worked perfectly and was very easy to install this way. it looks great and if you have room for it, it can be a very easy and inexpensive way to add a fireplace in the house.

Good features
In the little clear bag of hardware, screws, nuts, bolts and brackets, we had two brackets both marked with L for left. My husband improvised with wire to attach a Left bracket in place of a Right bracket. Would like to receive another clear bag of all hardware. Thanks.

Great Ideas with my Fireplace
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first when I received my fireplace I knew exactly where I was going to put it. I thought it would replace my current fireplace but to my suprise I found out it was a gas fireplace and the one I received is electric. So I had to come up with an idea how im going to utilize it. I was thinking about placing it in my bedroom which mean a little renovation which I slowly realized its going to cost alot building it into my wall. And then I thought of a little Dyi project where I can do myself which its gonna cost me a few buck. I'm currently looking for a fireplace stand and really excited about decorating it with my decor. The fireplace comes with a remote control where you can control the heating temperature. I'm looking forward to adding this to my decor and will post an update once Installed.

Very nice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit gives off a lot of heat! If you are looking for a nice looking, electric fireplace, I would recommend this one. It is a lot of looks and heat in a small package. I like that it is slightly modern looking, without being severe. We placed it in our basement just to add some additional heat and ambiance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! Very easy to assemble. It has different light settings as well, comes with a remote so you don’t have to get up to do it. Also, has a heater inside so it warms your room up nicely. I do wish it made cracklings noises like a real fire.

Realistic compact fireplace
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My normal company that does my fire place installs was so backed up that it was going to hold up my entire project, so we decided to use this fireplace as an alternative and so far it hasn't disappointed. This fireplace was easy to install, my handymen were able to put it in with out any problem, so if you're a DIYer then don't be intimidated by this set up. Looks great and doesn't need as much depth as the traditional fireplaces that we put in. We don't see that many electric fireplaces in my area but for what its worth, this is by far the most realistic looking one that I've seen.

Absolutely Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to the Revillusion 24" Portrait Built-in Firebox with Weathered Concrete Backer I find it difficult to find the words to express how much I love this fireplace! Just to name a few I will go with beautiful, amazing, realistic flame effects, easy install, and awesome heat! Now that winter is slowly creeping in it's hard to tearing myself away from it. Only thing that could make it better is if it had sound effects of a crackling fire. I highly recommend it.
