No temperature control ability
Unfortunately, this is not what we wanted in a remote. If you only need a basic on-off control without any heat setting ability it's fine. We are returning it for a different model. I truly wish, when ordering on the website, the drop down option for a remote was more than just a yes or no. I'd rather have had the option of choosing the remote that we wanted. When I ordered the complete fireplace, with glass doors and remote, this is not what I thought we were getting. Now, I have to return it and get the correct one. Fortunately, customer service is amazing and very helpful.
