The Miles also includes 12.5” full-length guardrails to ensure utmost safety for the top bunk sleeper. Both top and lower bunk include secured metal slats fully support mattress and sleeper without requiring an additional foundation; what’s more, the slats allow for better air circulation for your mattresses, making it last longer.

Great bunk bed for bedroom with low ceiling
Item showed in picture is wrong than describe. It is a twin top twin bottom straight ladder bunk bed. Item delivered without any notification at all; the delivery guy just showed up one day after weeks of placing the order. Good thing I have someone home to received it. Beside that. The bed is easy to assemble. Took less than two hours to put together. Very steady. Build quality is excellent. Instruction suggested max of 6in mattresses for top and bottom, but I ordered a Zinus 6in Gel-Infused Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress for top and 8in for bottom. This bed is excellent for bedroom with low ceiling. Highly recommended bunk bed.
