Well made, lots of pockets for small items
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in particular because it has a yellow lining and lots of pockets for small items - I'm using it for leatherworking tools that I have remove around but keep contained. The fabric is pretty heavy duty and the plastic bottom sturdy, but looks like a black hole in all but direct light, it would be better off either lined or laminated with a light colored plastic to continue the hi-vis interior. The tape measure clasp is awkwardly placed and makes the pockets directly beneath it difficult to use. The strap on the back side to loop over the rolling bag handle is an afterthought, poorly designed, snags on things. It would be better if it had a bit of velcro and a d ring to take up the slack so as to keep it out of the way. Decent value for the price, but not exceptional.

New project layout bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very heavy duty bag, from the zippers to the hard flat bottom, it is built well. I am using this bag as my layout bag for prepping my jobsites for excavation.
This bag has tons of built in storage. It holds two 300’ reels and a 2lb maul with ease in the main compartment. I can fit 4 cans of marking paint in the pockets on the side of the bag. On the other side of the bag, I use the built in pockets for string lines. It has a metal loop for a regular tape measure on the outside of the bag as well, for quick shorter measurements. It also has a zippered area where I keep my markers and a small notebook.
I am extremely happy with the organization this bag gives me, as well as the portability for everything I need walking around the jobsite.

Sturdy and heavy duty bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have transferred many of my tools out of a old bag into this new one. I carry the bag into every job i work on. It has enough room to hold everything but not to heavy to carry. The side pocket helps hold the smallest of tools.

All around a great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I use this bag for carrying my tools around from job to job. It’s well built with a hard plastic bottom so you don’t have to worry about sitting it down on a wet surface. It has plenty of pockets and compartments for different items that you may use. Also it has a waterproof pouch on the front of the back to keep certain items safe not that I would have my bag out in the rain anyway but is a nice feature. Over all very satisfied.

Awesome Tool Bag!

I'm a general contractor, most of my tools are kept in tool trailers or job boxes but over the years I've found a need to have an assortment of tools in my truck for random things. I used to use an open top tool bag for this but was surprised at how much "stuff" would accumulate in the bag...dirt, debris, misc. The things I like most about this bag are the hard shell bottom so I can throw in compact 20v tools to do most things, tons of pockets for misc hand tools, pliars, snips, stud finder, etc, and not worry about it breaking. It's got external straps for a 2ft level (somebody was thinking)!! I can also put my IPad mini in the water resistant pocket on the outside of the bag. There are pockets in there for more stuff but I'm always afraid of damaging expensive electronic stuff so I don't put anything else in there, haha. No better way to do estimates. I'd be lying if I said it didn't look cool, also, lol. It's black, yellow accents, shoulder strap. I've had mixed reviews on different things over the years, but this one is 100% for me. If you need a tool bag and you're sick of the open top, I'd go for this one. For my use, it's a perfect size. I was on the fence between this one and the smaller size but I learned that lesson with tool trailers. I went with the larger one. I think that's all I've got to say about it, strong, well made bag. Great value for price.

20" Bag that can hold all your tools!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag rocks. For a 20 inch bag it seems like it holds every tool you could need for a medium size job when hitting the road. The exterior pockets are large enough to throw hand tools, fasteners, or material in. The interior pockets seem to be the perfect size. 20v 5amh batteries fit flawlessly inside those pockets. Todays job was changing bunk boards on my boat trailer down at the marina. Had my drill, impact, angle grinder, hand tools, socket set, and fasteners all in this bag with plenty of room. The hard shell bottom also prevents the bag from folding inward. I threw this bag in the bed of my truck and expected it be tossed around and upside down. It was right side up and where I left it after a thirty minute ride to the marina down some of the worst midwest roads. I totally expected it to be upside down and tossed. The hard shell base really works. Overall I can't complain with any feature. The level mount is a nice touch and the tape measure holder is awesome. A dedicated spot on the outside of the bag for a piece of equipment that is needed for every job is great work by Dewalt.
The zippers rock.
All seams and handles are double stitched and made out of thick webbing.
The hard base prevents the bag from folding.
The large mouth opening allows access to evrry internal compartment with ease.
For a tool bag Dewalt nailed it
