Its adjustable stainless steel detent plate with 11 positive stops improves productivity and ensures cutting accuracy. The cam lock mitre handle delivers quick and accurate miter angles, while the oversized bevel scale makes bevel angle adjustments accurate and easy. Works with a 20-volt lithium-ion battery (sold separately). Three-year limited warranty.

Fantastic Portable Saw
I am a handy man with many smaller jobs to travel to. I purchased this saw to stop transporting my older very large miter saw. I wish i would have gotten this long before. the weight and ease of transport is fantastic. The battery means no more cords or counting on a good electrical circuit at the customer location. the back light tot he blade works fantastic, so much better than laser options. The dust is collected very well int he collection bag. I would buy another immediately if this one was damaged.

Cheap parts
Use for a week, put back in box, went to use again a month later, tried to change the blade and the Allen head striped… retaining bolt so tight channel locks have striped the outside of bold smooth… retaining bolts that are meant to be Tightened and loosened frequently shouldn’t be such poor quality for such an expensive saw…+ lost a 2 hours of a day trying to get it off

Not satisfied with dewalt had to Exchange three times I’m on my fourth one all four could not adjust 90 detent plat Screws would not allow plate to slide how to fix the detent plate to adjust 90° angle we have to put the correct degree numbers on detent plate ready it’s 90/85/80/75//70/65/60/55/50/45 OK got this one working hopefully it keeps working first one blade was throwing wood everywhere second one the motor was sound like it had a rock in it so on

Small project, small cut, solid saw.
I have had this miter saw for about 6 months now and I find that my large, heavy, corded miter saw rarely comes out anymore. That doesn’t mean I don’t love that thing but when it comes to a grab and go to cut up some 2x4s or molding at my parents house or running over to my sister’s house to help finish her basement, why lug the big one around.
This saw is built to the same quality as all the other saws in the line up. The fact that it is cordless makes it that much more flexible. It’s easy to forget its cordless because I haven’t been on a project yet where I’ve had to change a battery when I plug a charged 6 Ahr Flexvolt battery into it.
If I had one complaint, its that you can’t pivot the blade to the right for angled cuts. It can make it difficult when doing crown molding.

Awesome saw
Not cumbersome like a 10”. Slide makes all the difference. While it is a little restricted because of size, carry it with me as I am running baseboard to make small adjustments when needed.
