Broken wheels
I would give it 5 stars but the wheel design is faulty. I don't know if mine are just defected. But this is the first time I used my bag and both wheels are missing one side of the wheel bearing that keeps it held in place. If it wasn't for this I would be giving it 5stars. But I am disappointed in now having a bag that doesn't roll.

Great for a limited set of tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a DIY guy, but I also volunteer for a local group that works to keep folks in homes they already own. As such, we often need to have a wide variety of tools on hand - carpentry once, maybe some concrete anchors the next time, an electrical something on another job.
I used the PRO Backpack to carry my assortment on the last job, and that's what a couple of the the pictures will show. The rest I tried to demonstrate the size and depth of the various pockets.
The backpack seems to be built of very durably materials, but of course I haven't had it long enough to give it a thorough break-in. The outer material is very water resistant, and in fact there is one pocket that is rated as waterproof! That would be handy to hide your cell phone if a sudden rain came along.
The inner pockets include a mesh pocket that has a picture of a drill on the label, but it doesn't seem well suited to that, in my eyes. You can put a drill or impact driver in battery-up, but then the extra weight pulls the pocket towards you more than I liked.
The tool pockets that range around the sides are nice, but seem like they would be better suited to a tradesman who knows just what tools to carry - like HVAC or electrician.
It is nice to have a variety of pockets to choose from, although many of them seem pretty flat - how many manuals does one backpack need?
I look forward to giving the backpack a much tougher test as the weeks and months go by.

Game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great way to travel with all of my tools and the storage compartments make it easier to keep it all organized. Being that it is a backpack it frees up my hands to carry more tools or material. So far the one downside I've noticed is when trying to roll it the straps will get stuck under the wheels. Definitely surprised with the space and all the tools I can fit in, it's been a great addition to my dewalt collection.

Improved portability in a convenient pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Improved portability in a convenient pack without sacrificing durability. This pack has so many pockets which allows it to be highly versatile in what you can bring with you. The deep front pocket on the front flap allows for easy secure storage for longer items like a 24-inch level or spray fluids. The main pocket has a large U-shaped zipper that allows it to open completely and fold forward to allow for unrestricted access of the whole main compartment. I was initially disappointed to find only one designated section for a drill/impact driver, however, I quickly found that an impact driver will fit in the internal side pockets easily (these pockets also function perfectly for additional batteries). A disadvantage I have found in the past with backpack applications is that depending on how large of items you load in certain pockets you can potentially sacrifice the function of other pockets completely. This pack, however, I did not find it to be an issue at all. I was able to easily fit a full size hammer drill with a 5aH battery still attached in the main drill pocket and still use the internal side pocket to fit an impact driver, use all the smaller pocket behind it for screw drivers and fit a 15inch laptop, with room underneath the drill for bit drivers and drill bits. It should be noted that anything larger than a 15-inch laptop will not fit in this pack. I enjoyed the added full metal clip on the outside for a tape measure. and the outside side pocket allowed for a full size 14 oz framing hammer to fit upright and have a clip loop around it for added support. I have not had a chance to assess the packs’ overall performance in weather conditions but based on the material choices and build quality it will do perfectly fine in light rain without risk of damaging a laptop. With a Medium/Large load amount the pack weighed in at 31.8lbs and managed the weight well. This backpack can also be optioned without the wheel system, however, not sure I would consider it. The backpack functionality of this pack is decent but lacks any significant forgiveness on your back, which makes sense since they want to ensure the pack maintains rigidity with heavy objects inside. The straps are reinforced with metal grommets, but I would be curious to see how the straps hold up over time while hauling a good amount of weight. It should be noted that the carry strap on the top of the pack is leather wrapped and heavily stitched and will likely hold up well. The roller functionality is essential to this pack, and it would be far less versatile and enticing without it. Note, make sure to use the strap storage hidden in the padding so the wheels do not get caught up in the straps.
Final notes, this back has a relatively small footprint for the amount of storage it has and would be a good cheaper alternative to something like the TOUGHSYSTEM for those that don't require a substantial amount of equipment. This is also a vast improvement on just a standard tool bag with the ability to not have to carry 30lbs of weight in one hand and instead wheel it conveniently around with the option to carry it on your back.

Well designed and full of great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I own 22 rental properties, two of which we have turned into an AirBNB. I am constantly repairing or upgrading something at one of them and ordinarily I would choose a toolbox over a tool bag, but for some things carrying a bag with essential tools in it is easier than lugging around a big old toolbox. I really like my Dewalt Toughboxes that I have separated for different types of tools or tasks. One box for plumbing, another for electrical and others for carpentry and seldom used tools. I ordered this bag to use as sort of a catch all. Sometimes it’s a pain digging through all of the toolboxes to get the tools I need, so now I’m going to set this bag up to carry commonly used tools like screwdrivers, drill, drill bits, etc. This will keep me from digging through all the boxes to get tools that I need for various tasks.
This bag has plenty of compartments and pockets. It has an exterior clasp that is perfect for electrical tape and an exterior clip for attaching a tape measure. The exterior side pockets are big enough to hold a large water bottle or longer tools. The exterior also has a waterproof pouch that is perfect for gloves, cords or whatever you want to keep from getting wet. The interior is spacious enough to store a large drill, hammer and various other tools. This bag can be carried as a backpack but has the added feature of having wheels in order to roll it instead of carrying it.
