PVC Butter Cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PCV cutter cut through the pipe like nothing. It worked better than expected. There was no strain on the hand to make it work like a hand cutter. You simply pull the trigger and hold your pipe and bam.

Great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge fan of this pvc cutter. Works awesome. Used it for 2” sch 40 drain lines during a bathroom remodel and for cutting 1/2” pex supply lines as well. Definitely worth the money as it doesn’t break the pvc like other handheld cutters do. Only downside to the product is it bulkier than I feel it needs to be.

Great addition to the PVC/Plumbing Tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DeWalt's Industry leading innovation hits another home run with this product. It attaches to my drill in seconds. Its light and can be used with one hand on the drill and one hand on the pipe. It takes up less space in the plumbing box than a stand-alone tool would, all the while delivering flawless results. I used it to cut Schedule 40 PVC Pipe in sizes ¾", 1", 1½" and 2" , ABS PVC Pipe and Schedule 80 PVC Pipe in 1½ and 2" and Pex Piping in ½" ¾" and 1" All cuts were easy and came out cleaner than a factory end on the pipe. No burs on the inside, or outside diameter of the pipes. On the tool, the catch end of the cutting area is perfectly sized, strong and durable, yet slim enough to slide between a pipe and a wall in the slimmest of margins that you can hang a pipe. This makes repairs incredibly easy and fast, while producing a straight and clean pipe end to work with. This aspect of the tool alone is worth the purchase. For large installs or repairs it cuts time significantly by making perfect, repeatable cuts easy and done with one hand on the tool and one hand on the pipe. Perfect for the homeowner who already has a Dewalt Drill or wants to get one. You can do so many repairs with professional cuts. There's tons of cool indoor and outdoor projects with the kids that include varying sizes of PVC and this knocks that out easy.
For the homeowner, the General Contractor or the Plumbing Professional this is a must have. It's strong, smooth and one of my favorite tools I've gotten in a while.

Great if you need lots of cuts

If you’ve got one or two pieces of PVC to cut, I don’t think this would be a good choice, but if you’ve got a lot of cuts to make, this would be a real time saver. It attaches easily enough to my impact driver, and cuts with ease.

Fastest PVC cutter I’ve used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the DeWalt Impact Connect PVC/PEX Cutter with Brace Bracket and let me tell you, it saved me so much time and clean up at my job site.
First, it was very easy to install on my DeWalt impact driver. I had the PVC cutter installed in under a minute and it was ready to go to work.
Second, it was very easy to use and the quality of cuts were consistent and precise.
I had a construction film wall around a building zone in one of my work sites. The film was suspended by some jack chains and 2” PVC pipe. We had planned to use a manual PVC cutter, a reciprocating saw and a grinder but none of those worked as well as the DeWalt Impact Connect PVC cutter.
The cutter made easy work of the PVC pipe. I was impressed with its speed and clean operation. There was no burrs, dust or mess with this tool. We anticipated this job taking a couple of hours and we finished in just under 35 minutes and the cutting part was even less than that.
I loved using this tool and it left a great impression on my partner and I. The tool was intuitive to use and I’m definitely adding it to my tool kit for future jobs. If you have a lot of PVC to cut and you want fast and consistent cuts, I strongly recommend you get yourself the DeWalt Impact Connect PVC cutter.

Impressive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first look and feel it's a nice tool. Seems well built and has a few safeguards I like as well. As for a full time plumber, this tool would be fantastic in my opinion. Especially since it's not much larger than a manual pipe cutter anyway. I can see this tool being used for far more than what it's intended for honestly. And do well too. As for a general contractor or carpenter this tool would be handy . Although I don't see the brace on the battery being utilized whatsoever. As it would be a hindrance if having only 1 impact on site. But all and all. I think this is a great tool and design over all. Only flaw I see is the plastic connectors failing over time. But that may not be an issue at all depending on what you use it for.

Impact connect PVC pipe cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the impact connect PVC pipe cutter today. I was so impressed I stopped working and went to were a friend of mine was working to show him. He was very impressed we cut a 1 1/2 inch schedule 80 PVC pipe like it was hot butter. The cut was like a factory cut. Straight and smooth. There were no burs chips like sawing would have been. A lot of the times after some one has done plumbing there are chips of PVC pipe in toilet valves then you have to take time to clean them. I don’t believe there would ever be that kind of problem with this cutter. And trying to cut with a saw is a huge hassle. Then I went and demonstrated it to several other people. The were also impressed. If you had a bunch of cuts to make in a day I believe it would speed up the job tremendously. Also if working in a tight place it will make it easier.
