Works okay for putting pickets on a fence
Purchased this to replace my very old and well used Bosch depth setter. This one works okay once you set it up properly (I used two lever lock pliers to lock the two adjustment rings together, now they won't move unintentionally). When you set the screw with this depth setter it does disengage the bit and stops it from rotating which then stops cam out and damaging the screw head. Works almost as good as the Bosch version, but I do miss the magnetic tip on the Bosch as this DeWalt doesn't have that feature. For the price it's definitely a good piece of kit to keep in your tool bag and I would buy it again should I need to.
