Description
This DEWALT table saw is equipped with a 15-amp 5 800 RPM motor that will let you rip through hardwood with ease. The dual rack and pinion fence rails help make adjustments faster, smoother, and more accurate. The compact size makes this table saw easy to transport and store, and it has a 24.5-in rip capacity when it comes to ripping 4 x 8 plywood and OSB sheets. The metal roll cage base is more durable than plastic bases. The table coating reduces friction for smoother cutting. Weighing in at just 46 lb, this table saw can easily be moved on and off the job. It's even equipped with a dust port that allows for 2 1/2-in vacuum connection to minimize clean up.

Well built
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned this table saw for about 6 months now and I can honestly say this is a great addition to my garage DIY projects. I’ve been able to make good clean and precise cuts with this saw. I was surprised how useful this saw been for its size. I highly recommend this saw.

Vert good portable saw.
A light, portable alternative to the larger saw in my shop. It handles everything I need: trim, baseboards, flooring, deck boards, etc. Much easier to move from job to job, functions well.

Bevel problem since new
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw about 2.5 years ago. I've been doing trim carpentry since 16 years old, and have a lot of experience with table saws. I really like the compact size and portability of this saw. The fence is great. The price is great. The power is great. The bevel feature is a problem. It misaligns the blade, and doesn't straighten when you bring it back to zero, unless you take it back and forth between 0 and 10 degrees a few times. I'm talking like almost -hitting -the-throat plate insert kind of misaligned. It has done this since I bought it new, and I can't seem to find any way to fix it. Maybe it's a design issue, or maybe mine is a lemon. Either way, if you buy it and it doesn't work right, don't wait to return it, thinking you can fix it, like I did.

Bought used this year for kitchen panel cuts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this used in the beginning of 2024 (like new condition tho) to cut panels for my new ikea kitchen and loved it.
Great adjustability and nice and portable for what it can do.
As far as those who are mad about this saw not accepting dado blades - get a bench mount router that can give you exact cuts according to the bit you use. The Dewalt DW7485 is made for conventional cuts (rips, 45's, miters, etc) and designing it for one purpose makes it more precise and durable.
Moving on, the fence is easy to use and stays put very well. The fence also stores underneath in addition to the miter for easy storage.

Great expectations. Sadly disappointed.
My basement is now finished and the Dewalt Job Site saw (that I loved) is too big for my workshop so I
sold it so I could buy a more suitable saw.
This saw appeared to be a good choice to replace it and I bought it a week ago. Out of the box it looked
great so my expectations seemed justified. Setting it up went well until I checked the fence. I wasn't flat.
It had a bulge in the middle of its height, tapering off to each end where it was fastened. It measured 0.013".
It doesn't sound like much but it made it impossible to set square with the table. Then, to add to the problem
I found the table was not flat. From front to back there was a hump that ran across the width of the table.
The left side of the throat was 0.022" higher than the throat plate and the right side was level.. I should
add that I am a tool maker and used a Starret 12" and 18" scale along with thickness gauges to measure.
I gave up. This saw looked great, made you look forward to using it, I was really disappointed. How the
heck do you manage to get a bulge in a aluminum extrusion? How does a die cast table top manage to
get through a quality assurance protocols?

I do not recommend it , it is a piece of junk
This table saw has lots of problems :
-
1- able size is too small to do even small job 2- the table is not flat
3-
cuts are too rough and not accurate due to the bad blade 4- this bad blade can not be replaced with a fine one because Dewalt does not have this fine blade and does not have any compatible blade from a third part for
fine work 5- plastic guide breaks easily
