Description
This Dewalt 12 V to 20 V Max jobsite charging station allows you to charge 2 Dewalt 12 V to 20 V Max Li-ion batteries. It includes two USB ports to charge compatible devices (1.5 Amp max output). It also features a diagnostic display with an LED indicator that communicates the battery charge status: charged, charging, replace pack, and battery too hot or too cold. Charges the batteries in 95 minutes or less to minimize downtime.

I have 6 other batteries waiting in line for...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I scour this site for the specs on this I can only find the amp rating of the usb charger (not important) and not the amp rating for the battery ports themselves (very important). Dewalt makes a 4 port fast charger (too bulky for most tool boxes) but not a 2 port fast charger. Some stores advertise this as a fast charger but it's not.

Does what it does well
Picked this up several years ago as a combo with a battery, and it was a great decision. Work in a manufacturing shop, so 1 outlet to charge 2 batteries PLUS 2 usb ports really saved the day!

More and faster charging, and USB ports!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great if you get larger batteries (especially a 2-pack!) and need a faster charger; 3 amps per 20V battery. The USB ports are also nice, especially if you're short on wall outlets.

Great Dual Charger
Purchased this a couple of days ago, placed two new 20V MAX 6.0Ah Lithium Ion Premium batteries on the charger and they were completely charged when I looked over at the charger 30 minutes later. Not sure exactly how longer the charger lights were on solid. Remember, these were new batteries and they probably had a certain amount of charge to begin with. Very happy with the charger, appears to be well made. I have a single 18v Dewalt charger that I have been using for 10 years without any issues. I will update this review after I have used the charger for a longer period of time However I'm impressed with the charger at this time.

Scratching My Head
We now have several of these chargers. It occurs to me that they are built backwards. If I want to see the charge light , while charging, I must insert the battery into it from the back. I need to leave space behind the charger for my hand to grasp the battery. Logically, wouldn't it make sense to slide the battery onto the charger from the front, and have the socket slope down from front to back? I need to build a station for 16 different chargers from a multitude of different manufacturers. Design challenges like this complicate the project.
Also, mounting possibilities to a wall would be almost a requirement in this day and age. It appears that it is meant to mount on a wall, so that the batteries slide in from the "top", but there are no simple keyholes in the base to mount it to a wall, and be able to remove it easily, if necessary.

Perfect for the jobsite
I bought this primarily for the dual usb ports and because I needed another charger. When you're embedded into a tool ecosystem, it becomes necessary to have multiple charging options. This works perfectly for me because it charges two batteries at once and allows me to charge my phone or tablet as well as another device. It is a bit on the larger side, but it works for me and stores in one of my toughsystem boxes.
