No it cannot. There are certain bolts for the hand rest which aren't on the both sides.

Save your money buy ANYTHING else
I bought 2 of these sets. 1 set came with all the parts. Screw holes don’t line up well and if you don’t have a lot of grip strength you are never getting this together. Open the second box. One of the legs is badly damaged and 2 panels are completely missing. New parts come. The threads are so poorly drilled that my bolts are stripping and won’t line up without me torquing the set. It also didn’t come with any instructions. Luckily the first set did so I was able to figure it out. Now I have to go back to the store again to order a new set of hardware. What should be a 30 minute project is now at 4 hours and I installed a 9’x19’ kitchen with an island in 8 hours….deeply regretting this purchase

This thing is hellacious to put together. Imagine none of your holes lining up and then you have to thread bolts through them with an Allen key. And then doing it umpteen times. The cushions are really hard. The table feels too high we aren’t even using it. Solid 5.5/10

Not worth full price
The unit was hard to put together and cushions are very hard for sitting on. However, new seat cushions will make it much more comfortable. Definitely glad I got it on sale and did not pay full price for it.

It's a nice set but honestly it's hard to assemble. Holes all didn't line up properly has to wiggle and twist pieces to line up.

Inferior Quality and Poor Customer Service
I like the style and price but very disappointed with the quality and customer service from the distributor Deko.
The product had rust spots on it even before I assembled it and when I contacted Deko with pictures of the rust, they would not warranty it and responded:
“Regarding the warranty for this item, we typically cover for parts and not issues resulting from normal wear and tear. ( THE FURNITURE WASN’T EVEN ASSEMBLED YET! ) As the set is made of metal, exposure to rust or water can lead to rust formation.” ( They are admitting that their OUTDOOR furniture which is supposed to be exposed to weather conditions, WILL rust. So what is the purpose of their Patio Furniture that cannot be placed on the outside on the patio????
I wouldn’t recommend buying any PATIO FURNITURE from this distributor.

Le kit est beau. Les coussins sont confortables . On aime bien….

Le montage! La personne qui a créer les vis et les trous est tout simplement nul!
Vis ultra dure à visser, parfois ne fonctionne tout simplement pas! Ça nous a prit la journée entière « gosser » la dessus et pourtant on est habitué au meuble à assembler! On a du changer des vis et faire avec d'autres trucs pour l’arranger
