Description
Help reduce sound transmission across interior walls and drywall partitions using this MONO® Acoustical Sealant. This sealant is convenient and easy to apply with a caulking gun. Conforming to CAN/CGSB 19.21 M87 specifications, this non-hardening sealant features butyl rubber that keeps it permanently flexible. This ensures there's no cracking, peeling or hardening over time, which enhances durability. The item has excellent adhesion properties and doesn't stain or bleed. Since this rubber sealant resists changing shape, it ensures effective sound blocking for several years to come. Non-flammable properties make this material safe for your home. It comes in a 295 mL bottle and a dark grey colour. This product also works as an acoustic seal around air and vapour barriers.
