DAP(R) BUTYL-FLEX(R) Gutter and Flashing Sealant is a long-lasting white sealant formulated from high quality butyl rubber. It forms a watertight seal against air and moisture. In addition, it remains flexible to resist cracking and crumbling due to temperature extremes, weathering or shock. No painting is required. Meets ASTM Spec. C-1085.

Good for defending against creek floods
I have used this products to seal the edges of the plywood that keeps the flood water from entering my back door. Two feet of water laid against it for several days. It only gets stronger over time. I also use it to seal rain-gutters. Wet your fingers before touching it so it does not stick to your fingers.
