Description

This spacious unit is designed to store up to 36 bottles of your favourite wines on attractive black wire shelving. The blue LED interior lighting beautifully showcases the bottles through an elegant tempered-glass door designed to protect your collection from potentially harmful ultraviolet rays and displays your collection with pure sophistication. The temperature of the wine cooler will stay between 6 degrees and 14 degrees Celsius (43 degrees and 57 degrees Fahrenheit) ensuring the bottles will always be at a temperature best preferred. This appliance features a discrete pocket-style handle, and a smooth back design to allow the installation to be flush against a wall. The handy reversible door enables you to open it from the left or right-hand side. Includes a 12-month warranty on parts and labour with in-home service.

The ad says "a smooth back design to allow the installation to be flush against a wall" but manual says to leave 5" between back, top and sides for ventilation. Which is it? Where are the exhaust vents & plug located? Can it go flush against back wall?

Average, acceptable wine fridge
Simple yet elegant design, and the the spacing of the shelves provides enough room for the oddest shaped bottles. This was also one of the few models available in the 36 bottle range.
My two minor "complaints" are: 1) the refrigeration system is audible enough that you can hear it turn off and on. While it is not so loud that it distracting, it is noticeable. 2) It lacks the ability to cool below 14 degrees Celsius - I've tried adjusting the manual temperature knob many times, but it refuses to cool to anything lower. As a result, this is my red wine fridge, while my white wines go in my old wine cooler made by a competitor company.
