Lie… not stainless steel. I bought it because it says stainless steel, but is NOT. Expensive for some trashy made garbage can. Disappointed.

Cheap plastic product
Bought this garbage can and the second day the lid started to randomly pop off from the back plastic clip mechanism. Within two weeks the clip was completely worn and would not stay attached. Very disappointed in this product. I should have returned it immediately but thought it was just the way my family and I were stepping on the foot peddle. Found out it didn’t matter how light or hard, it would just pop off randomly. Save your money and put towards a better quality product. Also found out my mother in law purchased the same product a month before me and the same thing happened to her garbage can.

A peine achetée le couvercle ne fait que sauter. Il a tout l'air de s'agir d'un problème de conception de la poubelle malheureusement. À chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la pédale, le couvercle ne tient pas et il faut le remettre dans les "clips", manuellement.

Lid broke on first try...
I bought this garbage to replace our current one, because the lid would pop off almost every time you stepped on it. Was very disappointed that as soon as I assembled (yes properly) this garbage, I stepped on it and the lid broke off! It happens every other time you open the garbage. Also the lid does not open a full 90 degrees. Currently in the process of returning this item, and have advised Rona to stop selling this item. At $50+ it should last a while before the lid pops off.... Also I only weigh about 110lbs so it’s not like I’m using too much force!
