Description
This CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless 13-in Weedwacker string trimmer/edger features a high efficiency motor and is equipped with a 2.0 Ah battery allowing you to take on the tasks at hand. The V20 battery platform is compatible with CRAFTSMAN V20 outdoor equipment and power tools. The string trimmer features an automatic line advance feed system which feeds the line automatically without the need to bump, a 13-in swath with single 0.065-in line to help you get the job done quickly, and 2 speed settings letting you choose more power or more runtime. It also has an ergonomic telescoping pole featuring a turn to edge capability and an adjustable auxiliary handle for better ergonomics and control. This product is compatible with the VERSATRACK wall organisation system and it is backed by a 3 year limited warranty. Includes spool, 2.0 Ah Lithium Ion battery and battery charger.

Can you respool the line yourself or do you have to buy the preloaded ones?
The line can be respooled according to the manual by rewinding the spool with bulk line. Please use only round diameter line with a thickness of 0.065 inches (1.65 mm).
NOTE: Hand wound spools from bulk line are likely to become tangled more frequently than CRAFTSMAN factory wound spools. For best results, factory wound spools are recommended.

What is the charging time for the battery
Out of the box it took a good 4-6hrs I bought this unit because I had another craftsman garden tool so can rotate the two batteries. I have a large lot and had no issues with battery life it lasted easily.

light weight, string is always ready for use
I bought this a month ago/.I like most of the features but it does not hold a charge longer that 25 minutes so I cannot finish trimming in one go

Great features adjustability long battery life
My old trimmer was not keeping it's charge(different brand). I already had one craftsman V20 tool so decided to go with same brand. Used it once so far have about 1/3 of acre home lot, easily does the job with a lot of battery left over.

Nice and lite and gets the job done.
I bought this to replace a corded unit that was heavy and needed to be plugged into 120 volts AC. It is light and does the job nicely. I am able to do my edging on one charge and do half of the edging next time I use it before charging it again. I like the fact it has a wire edge guide that helps to keep the string off the fence boards.

Great machine. No complaints thus far.
Best purchase I've regarding string trimmer. Not too heavy not awkward to use. The battery is quite sufficient for my yards.
