I used a whole 6 oz bottle of oil for one use! Is there supposed to be so much oil dripping out while cutting?
Mine did not use very much oil. I filled to top of reservoir and after 1 hour of use it has lowered by about 1/4 inch.

Whole bottle of oil gone on first use
A whole 6 oz bottle of oil went right through while trying to cut on my first use of the saw. I had to stop even before my battery ran out because the oil was all gone. Another owner said they used theirs for an hour and the oil only went down by 1/4 inch. Will be taking this back :(

Lots of juice.
I was looking for a light chainsaw that I could clean brush with and I found it. It’s not a cheap little thing. I had no problem cutting through 8” maple logs with it.

Would be great if it didn’t leak bar oil
I’ve used this saw maybe 5 times - I’ve had it for about a year. It works great, battery lasts longer than I expected. However, when you set this saw in its place to store between uses, bar oil leaks out. Badly. All of the oil leaks out. It’s not even an oil cap issue, I’ve stored it sideways with the cap straight up in the air. Still leaks all of the bar oil out. I have oil all over my garage because of this. I wish i could find a fix for it somewhere, but I can’t find any videos about it. Wish it didn’t leak the oil.

Texas Ice Storm Oaks Down All Over
We had a massive ice storm and ice brought down TONS of oak trees. This 12 chainsaw really got the job done. I have worked days on a Stihl 20” saw at the ranch and it’s darned heavy after a day, and I’m a big guy.
This Craftsman is far lighter, and it will get after anything in the way up to 8-10”. I cannot recommend it any higher. The 4H battery is actually the only heavy part, ha. I was very impressed with the run time. I have all V20, so a bunch of batteries, but didn’t really need them all. Went through 2, but there were TONs of downed limbs etc.

Great for in town use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does everything i need it to living in town with fully mature trees. Make sure you have extra batteries though. I’ve put it through 6-10” silver maple limbs that have fallen during storms. Easy to tighten chain without tools.

Excellent for Occasional Small Jobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little chainsaw with decent battery life. I’ve been using it for small trees and limbs and it’s so much easier than my old Craftsman gas powered saw. Low noise and a less aggressive chain making for far less bucking and kickback. I’d recommend it as an alternative to a small gas saw unless you’ve got more than a few trees or big limbs that you can’t wait for a recharge to get to. It seems ideal for most homeowners in need of a chainsaw for occasional minor use as it’s easy to use, isn’t loud, and isn’t fussy about fuel and oil. Works great. I’d buy it again.
