Description
This CRAFTSMAN 2-in-1 device is both a self-levelling laser and a stud sensor. With a 1/8-in accuracy, this laser can project as far as 20-ft. Offering automatic reference for angled lines, it also features a centre marking channel for identifying the location of the studs. This device is sold with a wall mount bracket and two AA batteries. This product is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Engineering failure
I bought this product at Rona and it never crossed my mind that, for nearly $70.00, craftsman would design, manufacture, and market a product that fails severely as a stud finder and only shoots horizontal laser level lines. No vertical options at all!! Waste of money.

Over priced for quality
Just purchased a couple of weeks ago and after a couple of days the drywall pin broke and now the self leveling laser looks incorrect, about 10 degrees off. Stud sensor could be better also

Great device
Wonderful device for stud finding and love the self balancing laser level. Only downside is I have only had the device for 3 weeks and the pin broke. Would be nice if there was a replacement pin for free or even for sale. would give it 5 stars if the pin was easily replaced

Fast and Easy
I love this machine. My house has not art and my wife bought so much it would've taken me forever if I hadn't gone to the store and bought this baby. From the first piece of art to the last I've managed to get everything done so quick thanks to the last, finding a stud was no problem neither. I recommend this tool for Anybody who likes to get there job done fast and easy. Plus everything came out leveled perfectly. Take a look at the pic below.

Easy to use and read!

I have been using it to hang and level picture frames and decor so far but plan on using it for other things later. This has made it so easy and much faster. It is very easy to use and read for finding studs. The laser is better than I expected it to be and really surprised me. Overall great product.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Craftsman self leveling laser last week. It arrived at a perfect time, as I am currently working on a few home improvement projects. The leveling laser is sturdy and well built. It runs on 2 double A batteries, which are included. It is a versatile tool, as you can use it to detect studs, locate live AC wires, and of course the auto leveling feature. The best feature, in my opinion, is the "push pin" on the back side of this leveler. This feature allows you to use the "push pin" to hang the leveler on the wall (and use the laser in a couple of ways, such as hanging art). Overall, I recommend this auto leveling laser.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an apartment so I’m not allowed to put a lot of holes in the walls. This laser/stud finder has been a godsend. I am able to find exactly the location I need so I don’t keep putting unnecessary holes in the walls. It’s nice to finally know that the pictures that I’m hanging up or actually street without having to hang them up repeatedly. Being able to tell exactly what type of stud I am finding has been extremely helpful and knowing where the electric is in the walls has kept me from doing something dangerous. Just like all other craftsman products, this tool has saved me lots of time, money, and anxiety.
