Description
The Craftsman® S270 chainsaw is equipped with Quickstart pull-start system as well as an adjustable automatic lubricator that keeps the chain in top-notch condition for fast and precise cuts. This device also features a cushioned handle and a 5-point anti-vibration system, meaning that the chainsaw is balanced, comfortable and manoeuvrable when in operation. Maintenance is simple since access to the filter and spark plug doesn't require any tool. This product comes with a heavy-duty carry case and bar and chain oil. This product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Just what I needed
I'm a homeowner with about an acre of property. I debated renting a chainsaw but for decided to buy one as it would be more cost effective. I looked at various brands and decided on the CRAFTSMAN. Great balance between performance and cost. I didn't need a professional grade tool and didn't want to spend 2x the money. This chainsaw has worked great. I felled a few small trees, cut firewood, and did some branch trimming. Starts up really well and runs great. One thing to remember is that chain oil is *not* included. As others have said, use fuel without ethanol for best performance. I buy pre-mixed 40:1 ethanol-free fuel and have been impressed with its performance.

Amazing saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chainsaw arrived in very good, compact, easy to open packaging. No assembly required which was very nice. A very good positive note for the carrying case is it’s sturdy hinges. In the past I have owned other chainsaws that the carry case latches would break or come unsecured resulting in the case coming open. With this chainsaw the latches can withstand the use very well. It came with pre-mixed gas so I was able to get started right away. It fired right up on the fourth pull and I had zero issues getting it warmed up and ready for use. It has a solid feel, low overall vibration, and very meaty teeth near the base allowing me to get a very solid bite on some of the larger branches. It’s has plenty of torque and was going through limbs and logs with ease. I rank this chain saw number 1 of the 4 that I have owned. The only thing that would have been nice is a small container of bar oil in the kit so you could open and have everything needed to at least start a cutting job. Awesome saw!

Great Chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Craftsman 20 inch chain saw was very easy to get ready to use. The instructions were easy to understand and the chainsaw was up and running in a very short amount of time. The Chainsaw started easily and without much effort. The weight of the chainsaw is a bit heavy but is to be expected with such a long blade. I felt as I had good control of the chainsaw while using. The hand break was a bit awkward to get used to but it does work for a great safety feature. The saw was very sharp and made quick work out of small, medium and large logs.

Heavy Duty Chainsaw!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't yet used this chainsaw but from the looks of it its heavy duty and looks tough! It has an amazing case to protect it while in storage and it came with a can of grease. Once we get around to using it for the intended project I'm sure it'll do exactly what we need...which us cutting down the remainder of a downed tree in the yard.

My husband loves this thing!

This chainsaw works efficiently and effectively! It took my husband less than 30 minutes to cut a fig tree down into manageable sized pieces. He has also used it to cut old cabinets so we could burn them in our fire pit. No complaints over here about this product!

Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Craftsman saw came with a can of fuel mixture which was nice. It did not come with chain oil which was a disappointment. The case is heavy duty which I love because it keeps the saw safe while storing. The saw is easy to start. Prime until you see it fill with fuel. Usually 4 to 6 pushes. The pull cord is easy use. Saw almost always starts on the first try. The air filter needs to be cleaned every few uses but is easy to do with soap and warm water. The comfort grip handle is nice. Keeps your hand comfortable and in place. The chain did loosen after the first use but is easy to tighten back up. The saw cut easily through my huge bushes in my yard and tree branches. The saw is heavy but not heavy enough that you have to take multiple breaks to let your arms rest. Look forward to using this saw many times in the future.

Cuts amazing

It's medium/average weight, definitely need a bit of muscle to hold and use it. The best part is that it cut threw some branches we needed to remove so easily and quickly. I was very impressed by how easy it was to use!

Awesome Chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Craftsman Chainsaw it’s a powerful tool! It has a pro-grade chasis that make it modern and easy to use, very easy to start and handle.
This chainsaw has 2 cycles and a 20” bar and chain, 5 point anti vibration handles for an easy grip, a powerful 46cc engañe and an inertia activated chain brake. I like that the package includes a heavy duty case for storage.
Very useful tool in my home!
