Great saw
I bought this saw a few days ago, and just bucked two 12 inch 30 foot birch trees into 12 inch rounds. Not a single problem right out of the box. It started first time on the fourth pull, idles well and seems to have adequate power for the work. Vibration is minimal and noise is low enough that you really don't need ear protection. Not the cheapest chainsaw on the market nor the most expensive, just value for the money.

Good power, nice for around the house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely couldn't handle repeated commercial jobs, but for around the house upkeep or firewood, it was a good fit. It was easy to start and ran smoothly and without issues. It didn't seem to have the kick for a larger job, but it is perfectly adequate for the average homeowner.

Incredibly Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the opportunity to really take advantage of this after some reason storms i can truly say its one of the best chainsaws i have used. Small and compact enough to make it easy to use but also powerful enough to tackle any job you need it to do. It made short work of some large trees and branches that had fallen around my house. I wold recommend this chainsaw to anyone.

Good Preforming Chainsaw

Although it seemed a tad heavy to me, getting my small job done of removing some thin trash trees was a breeze. The other plus is the hard case it stores in, very nice.

Fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw has starting instructions for cold start, which prove to work every time. This particular model has a bulb for priming the engine, which makes starting from cold very easy. The saw is well balanced, is solid, and is free from vibration. I haven't used it to cut anything larger than 12 inches in diameter, but it has cut everything I have tried to cut without any problems. The storage case is great, and keeps the saw from collection dust. Every indication is that this saw is built well and will last at least 20 years.

Great Chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Craftsman Gas Chainsaw with the Easy Start, pull to start and ready for the task to do. Easy instruction to follow to get started. Used it to cut up logs for my fireplace. Did the job very well with very little vibration and would highly recommend this chainsaw. Comes with a heavy-duty carrying case to take it to my home and to my lake house.

Easy to use and works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought this to clean up our backyard which is full of bushes and small trees with thorns. We tried asking a few landscapers and got huge quotes. Decided to buy a chainsaw and clean it up ourselves. I have no experience using this but followed the manual and was able to use it effectively. Wore gloves and glasses as recommended. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted to get a chainsaw but I imagen they were hard to handle and a bit intimidating. I am super happy I finally got one and this Craftsman was super easy to use. It did not take long before I was able to fire it up and get to work. Great investment and great price. My neighbors love it too. Also it is not super heavy so feels like I would have no issues with a big job.
