Easy to Read!
I got this The Locking Tape Measure 3 months ago to do a bathroom wall shelf. I absolutely love it! The numbers are big and easy to read. The tape doesn’t crease up like others and it retracts so smoothly. The lock keeps you right where you need to be without slippage worries. I highly recommend!

My go to tape measure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received as a birthday gift from my wife. I already own several but hey I am not one to turn my nose up at a free tool. I immediately noticed the made in the USA label and fell in love. It is stiff enough to hold it’s shape and easy to read. Thanks Craftsman!

Will Not Lock
The Auto-Lock feature does not lock. It creeps back in rather quickly. The only way to lock the blade extended is to slide and hold the button down with a LARGE amount of force.I had heard that Craftsman tools had improved their quality recently. I heard wrong.
