Toolbox Necessity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A toolbox must have item. Very sturdy and well made. The recoil is powerful. Used many times with zero issues. I noted the tape remained upright without bend past 10ft. Mostly covered in durable rubber to for added grip control. The marking are very easy to read. Numbers are large, bold and easy to read.

A must have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Something like a tape measure is a must have for anyone. It comes in handy for anything and everything. This one is a great length. Not too long but long enough for most jobs. The markings are clear. The button hold the tape out tightly and the belt hook is nice to have. Of course the Craftsman name is one that you can trust to be amazingly high quality and long lasting. This is something every person should have.

Professional Quality Tape for Everyday Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Craftsman 16-ft tape measure (model CMHT37441) is a well-built, solid competitor for the DIY, Crafting, and Homeowner market. My wife and I reach for our 16-ft Craftsman for daily chores, crafts, and yardwork.
Pros:
+ The action of the tape is smooth and consistent.
+ The locking mechanism is tight and accurate.
+ The tape includes fractional inch markings (excellent for the casual homeowner or DIY application who don't have the hash marks memorized) and emphasized 16's (used for common lumber framing spacing).
+ The body has a grippy protective rubber overmold.
+ The body has a strong belt clip.
Cons:
- The mouth that the tape comes out of is too big. Grabbing the tape the wrong way could potentially get a finger stuck if you have smaller fingers, like my wife does.
Final Thoughts:
My wife and I like our new Craftsman tape measure for its build quality, light weight, and ease of use. She especially appreciates the fractions because she does not use tape measures every day. The body of the tape measure feels good in hand and has a nice, grippy rubber overmold. Craftsman thoughtfully molded the body's total width (2-7/8") above the belt clip--this allows you to measure from the end of the tape to the front OR the back of the tape measure.

This is a great little tape measure

Its more compact than the large 25' ones out there.
It seems pretty durable, Ive dropped it a few times, from a 6' ladder, tape is still good.
It has a wide curved tape, over an inch when flattened out. And and inch wide with the tapes' curve.
This allows you to extend it out over 10 feet without it bending on you!
The tape's lock is easy to use, push the button down it clicks ,and then its not going anywhere.
The tape part is the business end, its accurate and easy to read, even the fractions of an inch ,every 1/8th inch are marked, and the quarter inch marks are printed in red which makes it easy to see/read.

Quality Tape Measure

The tape is strong and durable to consistent measurements. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple tape to have on hand.

Perfect Compact Size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 16ft. CRAFTSMAN Compact Easy Grip Tape Measure feels great in my hand and is super easy to operate. The rubberized grip makes it easy to handle with wet or dirty hands. The compact and lightweight design doesn't feel to heavy in my hands or take up too much room in my bag. The tape itself is sturdy and allows me to easily reach a minimum of 12'. The inch numbers are nice and bold making it easy to read at any distance. I really like the printed 1/8" increments for my young son who is just learning to read a tape. I'm going to get another one soon to leave with my table saw.
