Craftsman warranty
I also tried to a replacement of a broken ratchet and I got the run around from the website. Don’t buy craftsman tools, the company has turned bad.

I've owned this ratchet for 20+ years. I tuned it up then loaned it to a co-worker and somehow he broke it. I need the direction selector. HELP!!!

Very poor China made
It is not fully polished. It is not forged, as it has casting edge flash all the way around the horz surface. The switch is plastic, and the ball lock is too small for the bevel. The ball lock is going to fall out after maybe a few months. Shop elsewhere until Stanley/Craftsman starts making them in US again.

Craftsman for life...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first craftsman tool set as a teenager over 30 years ago... they were pricey for a teenage kid... but I still have and use the same set today... I've just added to my collection over the years... I won't say they have never experienced a failure... but Craftsman has stood behind their lifetime warranty every time... and for that I am Craftsman guy...

Plastic parts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer the original with the metal button and switch but the plastic seems ok
