Mauvaise conception
La deuxième fois que j'ai taillé ma haie, l'outil est devenu inutilisable.
C'est dommage car avant qu'il me lâche, je trouvais que ce taille-haie fonctionnait bien et était facile à manipuler; même d'une seule main. Selon mon expérience, le bout qui sert à couper les branches est inutile car il ne fait que faire vibrer les branches sans les couper, mais bon, pour la partie taille-haie, ça fonctionnait très bien.
Dans mon cas l'outil est devenu inutilisable, car la lame continuait à bouger dans l'air, mais aussitôt que j'y mettait la haie, plus rien ne bougeait et un bruit de frottement pas normal pouvait être entendu.
J'ai décidé d'ouvrir l'outil et j'ai remarqué que la tige centrale supportant la grosse roue d'engrenage de la lame était uniquement maintenu en place par du plastique et que le plastique avait fondu. Résultat, la fixation de la tige du gros d'engrenage était lousse et donc aussitôt qu'il y avait le moindrement chargement sur la lame, le gros engrenage se déplaçait et ne tombait plus en contact adéquat avec le petit engrenage du moteur (d'où l'arrêt de la lame et d'où le bruit de frottement anormal).
Craftsman, si vous lisez le commentaire, svp révisez la conception. Une tige qui est soumisse à répétition à des efforts de rotation ou translation dans du plastique, ça le fait fondre, ca désaligne les engrenages et ça rend l'outil inutilisable.
Pour ma part, je suis déçus de ce taille-haie.
Mes autres outils craftsman vont bien, j'assume donc qu'il s'agit d'une conception isolée.

powerful way to trim hedges
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hedge trimmer has no problem cutting back the hedge and other shrubs in my front yard. I also use it with ease to trim my neighbor's hedge that borders one side of my back yard. The overall quality is quite good.

Nice And Sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer works great! I was able to use it to trim some bothersome bushes in the front of my house. It went through the branches with ease, even the thicker ones close to the trunk. This trimmer is easy to use and sharp! I'm looking forward to using it for more yard projects.

Nice for small limb trimming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don’t have a lot of hedges but we have a bunch of small trees near the house and my hubby works a ton. Trying to trim some of the branches back from the house is so much easier now. I love the fact that I can just plug it in and use it. I’m not super huge fan of chainsaws unless there is someone home when I use them so this is such a great tool to use when you don’t have someone around. Its not too heavy but it gets the job done on the smaller limbs that become a nuisance.
PROS: lightweight, easy to use, doesn’t need to be refueled, no chain to worry about, plug it in and turns on, good double trigger safety (small hands can’t easily make it run)
CONS: Can’t go far from power source, bogs down a little on the thicker branches, attached to a cord that limits accessibility
I would definitely recommend this for quick and easy trimming...

Powersaw is a game changer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Craftsman Hedge Trimmer with Powersaw to try. I was impressed with the ease it was to shape my hedges. While using it, I had confidence I could tackle a wild rose bush that was getting out of hand. Not only did it do the trick, the powersaw on the end allowed me to trim it down a lot. I love not having to have multiple yard tools to do one job (hedge trimmers , shears, saw for thicker branches etc). This will definitely make yard work easier and quicker! Bravo Craftsman!

Yard work staple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this on a few bushes and low tree branches in our yard that needed to be cleaned up. The hedge trimmer gave clean cuts and shape to the bushes so that they looked healthier and neater. I liked the added safety functions as well so that if my young kids somehow came near it they couldn't turn it on. The power saw worked very well on some thin branches that were 1/2"-1" thick, some were green and others were more dry.
Overall I very much liked using this and will continue to use it around the yard as spring approaches.
