So far sander works great,bought this one because it’s got positive clamps on both sides of the sander,had the rigid sander and had only one clamp and wouldn’t hold the paper because spring bar worn out

I picked this one as it felt the best in my hand and it sanded any of the items that I needed to sand without any problems.

I have a router a sander a saber saw, radial arm all over 40 years old.I have newer craftsman tools that have lasted just a few years, there is no comparing tools from then to now. I will no longer spend My money on craftsman tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sander does a respectable job for what is designed for. I have had many of these types of sanders and the biggest complaint I have is with the padding for the plate. It wares much too easy and replacement is way over priced. A couple extra pads thrown in the box would be a welcome bonus. It holds the sheets firmly and does a good job dust collection could be better but I use a down draft table so I can deal with it. All said I would recommend as a good value sander. My experience is over 40 plus years teaching Woodworking and I still finish all projects by hand sanding.

My second Craftsman Palm Sander after 15 Years
