Description
This CRAFTSMAN driver's brushless motor delivers more power and runtime compared to older generation brushed-motor tools. This 20 V 1/2 in mid-torque cordless impact wrench with ring anvil delivers up to 275 ft/lb of fastening torque in a lightweight and ergonomic design. Its compact size and variable-speed trigger allow for better control in tight spaces. It also offers 2 mode settings for a variety of applications, as well as an LED work light for added visibility. Good Wrench but your mileage may vary
This is a decent tool, but I have not had the same success some other reviewers have had. I tried twice to loosen some New England area lug nuts and both times this wrench failed to budge them. But anything other than lug nuts this has been awesome. No matter now that I have bought the new High Torque for my wheel nut needs.

Worst Service from craftsman ever
Well, bought two units at the same time to keep in each vehicle in case of an emergency. What do you, the emergency I’ve been preparing for happened. Went to take off the rim, and the unit worked with 3 out of the 5 lug nuts and quit working properly. Contact craftsman for the issue, and the rep tried to replace it with a 3/8 impact instead of the 1/2 inch I had. Well, that won’t work, now I’m in limbo because the units are out of stock. Just my luck, purchase something new, and now can’t get a replacement. This isn’t the craftsman I’m used to. I really wish we had the old craftsman back. I have 20 plus of their tools, now I’m afraid if something goes wrong, I’ll get the same treatment!

1/2 cordless impact wrench
Like it but seems to lack the power I expected it to have. It does not break lug nuts loose like I expected it to. Good for snugging up but not the final tighten. Need tire tool to to break loose .

Disappointed
I own a lot of Craftsman tools. Have for years. I use Craftsman tools at the racetrack and in my own personal shop weekend and week out. This is the first thing I've ever returned to a store. Won't even remove a lug nut with a full battery charge. It was torqued to 70 ft lb. This is the first time I've ever bought and returned a Craftsman product I wouldn't buy this product until Craftsman gets their stuff together. Maybe I should have did my research before buying it. It definitely doesn't have the same torque as other brands have. For now off to another brand again until Craftsman builds a useable tool here.

Awesome 1/2” impact that checks all boxes
Excellent impact with plenty of power for all my automotive work. Has plenty of torque for all the maintenance and repair work I do. The 2 torque settings are ideal and it is the perfect size for a 1/2” impact.

Tough enough for diesel truck work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product to tide me over while having another repaired and now I only use this one. I definitely feel like the torque output is under rated for this tool. I use to tighten and loosen 5/8 lock nuts with no issue. I cannot stress how far above its price point this thing is punching.
